Three Things I’m Curious About #53

I love a story about the rediscovery of a species that had been considered extinct. Usually those discoveries don’t happen because a farmer catches a long lost animal in a trap, but that’s exactly how the Australian spotted-tailed quoll was found last month.

A small brown animal with white spots that looks like a fat weasel, snarls at observers from inside a wire mesh cage.

People overwintering in Antarctica have begun to develop a new accent, providing a unique opportunity for linguists.

Two red buildings and a number of communications towers sit on the edge of the ocean surrounded by snow covered mountains.

I can’t say that I ever wanted to detach the rooms of my house, but this futuristic house looks pretty cool.
